New Age Laboratories utilizes carefully structured testing methods in its fixed laboratory for agriculture and food safety testing and its mobile laboratory for environmental testing. Our services include laboratory testing of amendments; air; compost; drinking water; fertilizer; raw, ingredient, and finished food products; ground water; manure; plant tissue; process line testing; soil; and much more!
Each mobile laboratory services project management team consists of at least four individuals:
- Administrative Project Manager – responsible for pricing, scheduling, and overall project management
- Project Chemist – responsible for analytical requirements of project including sample runs, field reports, and instrument maintenance
- Data Manager – responsible for developing data packages and reviewing field reports
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer – responsible for all quality assurance/control issues related to the project and final review of analytical data
To ensure the overall success of our projects, NAL utilizes pre-project planning and post-project review documentation.
Prior to the start of a project, NAL’s administrative project manager requests a completed Project Information Sheet from the client. This document verifies the requested analyses, sample matrices, site location, electrical requirements, etc., to eliminate any discrepancies in the field.
In addition, the administrative project manager remains in continuous contact with the client’s project manager to answer questions and provide performance updates throughout the duration of the project.

New Age Laboratories has implemented strategic communication and evaluations to enable clients and chemists alike to prepare for upcoming projects.
Project Communication
New Age Laboratories knows that the majority of problems that arise on project sites are usually caused by a breakdown in communication. To try and assure these problems are kept to a minimum, New Age Laboratories will assign a project manager through which all communications will be channeled.
Pre-Project Meetings
On large scale projects, the project manager, site chemists, and our Quality Assurance/Quality Control officer encourage a pre-project meeting with the client to ensure that all project criteria is understood and how the project needs can best be met during the duration of the project.
Pre-Project Questionnaire
New Age Laboratories will also utilize a pre-project questionnaire which will be completed before each project begins. This questionnaire will ensure all pertinent information is gathered and understood prior to going on site.

New Age Laboratories is committed to providing you with defensible, closure level electronic data deliverables (EDD) from our on-site work. Our “real-time” field data is a provided in an Excel spreadsheet format with the availability of providing same on diskettes to your field team. This ensures that you can avoid fixed laboratories costly 24-hour turnaround charges.
After the completion of the project all data is run through our quality assurance department and a final report is issued within 10 days of project completion. Many of our clients have specific EDD needs. NAL provides all levels of EDD from simplified Excel formats to extensive EDD programs (ERPIMS, EQUIS, TERRABASE, etc.). We try to identify your specific EDD needs as early as possible so that formats and conversion tables may be created to assist us in providing you your data as quickly as possible in the format that works the best for you.
